Managing business integrity risk throughout the investment lifecycle is critical for business success, resilience and for safeguarding impact and outcomes.
Join us online for the launch of Investing with Integrity III: Monitoring Business Integrity Risk in Impact Investing, the final publication in a series of resources for investors developed by Transparency International UK in partnership with British International Investment (BII).
As identified in our first publication in this series (Investing with Integrity: The benefits and challenges of integrating high business integrity standards in impact investments), while there is growing emphasis on business integrity risk during pre-investment due diligence, portfolio management post-investment is an area of weakness with limited follow-up and monitoring.
Our latest guidance provides critical, practical guidance – including business integrity monitoring framework – to address this gap and help investors take a proactive stance to monitoring business integrity risk during the investment lifecycle for effective risk management.
Managing business integrity risk is not solely a compliance issue but a strategic asset that creates the foundations for growth and supports impact and financial performance. By adopting these practices, impact investors can better navigate the complexities of high-risk countries and sectors, protect their investments, and contribute to building a more ethical and sustainable global economy.
Don't miss this opportunity to:
- Understand the core recommendations of the new practical guidance and what they mean for investors and businesses raising the bar when it comes to portfolio monitoring.
- Discover how to raise standards of business integrity risk management in complex investment environments
- Learn from experienced practitioners in the field
