Join us online as Transparency International Defence & Security explore the piloting of gender-specific indicators alongside the 2025 Government Defence Integrity Index (GDI)

The session will focus on how GDI indicators could evolve to better help assess the gender dimensions of corruption risks in the defence sector.

Panellists will unpack the thinking behind proposed gender indicators and their potential to boost governance, accountability, and equality as corruption continues to impact women and marginalised groups.

By examining the legal, normative, and operational dimensions of gendered corruption, the discussion will highlight how these indicators can inform global efforts to align defence governance with the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda’s principles and anti-corruption strategies.

Through a moderated panel discussion and interactive Q&A session, the webinar will engage practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in dialogue about turning insight into action. Participants will gain insights into emerging best practices, challenges, and opportunities for addressing corruption risks in defence through a gender-sensitive lens.
