The war in Sudan has devastated lives for more than one and a half years, with currently little prospect for peace.

A humanitarian crisis with millions displaced, widespread food insecurity, and staggering levels of civilian victimisation now faces the country. Civil society organisations are providing vital frontline humanitarian support and will also be crucial to ensuring peacebuilding initiatives are successful.

With formal peace talks making slow progress, a resolution of the conflict might seem distant. But it's not too early to think through pathways to peace.

Transparency International Defence & Security's webinar will discuss what these pathways could look like with our expert panel.

Join us to explore:

  • the current humanitarian situation and how civil society organisations in Sudan can be better supported
  • root causes of the conflict
  • potential pathways to peace and how they can be made more inclusive
