Can you keep a secret? Tackling hidden ownership of Scottish assets

Transparency International UK and the Ferret invite you to come and discuss unpacking hidden ownership of land, improvements in transparency, and what more still needs to be done. 

We will be asking: How can ownership of land and property in Scotland be hidden, including overseas ownership via the UK's offshore territories? What more might be done by the UK government to act on land ownership transparency? Are transparency rules in Scotland working effectively? And how might open government principles in Scotland notably on beneficial ownership transparency help avoid corruption risks associated with opacity?
