The Business Integrity Programme’s goal is to improve anti-corruption standards in UK business and by extrapolation business standards globally by:

  • Leading the debate on and facilitating leading edge thinking on measures to fight corruption in business;
  • Raising awareness & providing guidance to the private sector on how to address corruption risk by interacting with a breadth of company types, industries and functions within those companies; and
  • Advocating for change within the private sector by engaging with companies directly, influencing public opinion and driving change in the enforcement environment in which they operate.

 

About the Role

The Senior Programme Manager is an integral role in the Business Integrity Programme. You will actively support the director in the development and delivery of the Programme strategy and provide senior expertise in the development of TI and TI-UK policy positions relevant to the private sector.

You will play an important role in the management of key stakeholders relationships in the private sector and other relevant organisations. This includes cultivating new relationships and maintaining current ones.

As part of a small team you will also:

  • lead and project manage specific initiatives and projects from inception to completion, including conducting research, interviews and writing reports;
  • supervise consultants and oversee the work of more junior team members;
  • represent the programme and TI-UK at external events;  and
  • deputise for the Director when she is unavailable.

 

About You 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience, ideally in law, political science, international development, business ethics or commerce would be preferable
  • Significant experience working in the field of anti-corruption, compliance and/or business ethics.
  • Experience within the private sector – including how companies and industries work and their role within the economy and society.
  • Significant experience working in a legal or professional services firm or in an in-house compliance team would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak proactively and with gravitas to key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Extensive experience of managing and delivering projects.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of being able to work independently
