Paid Internship: Project Assistant

  • Full time (35 hrs p/w)

About the role

As Project Assistant, you will provide administrative and project-based support to the UK Anti-Corruption Programme (UK-ACP) team. This will include a mixture of tasks including assisting with advocacy and research projects, providing administrative and logistical support and liaising with other national chapters of Transparency International.

The project assistant will be responsible for:

  • Providing logistical support, for example booking flights for conferences and events.
  • Data entry and verification for research projects.
  • Communicating with National Chapters regarding project deadlines and requirements.
  • Providing administrative and project-based support to the UK-ACP team where necessary.

For the right person, this is an exciting entry-level opportunity for anyone looking to work in the NGO sector. You will be part of a dynamic team that has a track record of achieving impact. We require someone who is organised, a good communicator and takes the initiative. She/he should be able to work under pressure and multi-task effectively.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • To be fluent in English and have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • To be highly organised and professional
  • Excellent interpersonal skills



  • Administrative experience
  • Research experience
  • Knowledge of or proven interest in corruption-related work or politics
