HR Manager – part-time job share

  • Part-time job share – 3 days per week (21hrs per week) to include Tuesday and Friday, third day is flexible

About the role

We are currently recruiting a part-time HR Manager to join the current HR Manager on a job share basis and broaden our HR capacity. The two HR Managers will work very closely together to ensure they provide strong pro-active HR support and advice to a growing organisation. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work with the incumbent in setting up the structure of the job share and to support the future growth of the organisation.

The HR Managers will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a comprehensive and consistent HR service to the organisation
  • Providing managers with appropriate and effective advice and support on all employee relations matters in line with our policies, employment law and best practice while also ensuring consistency across the organisation
  • Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement
  • Taking a proactive approach on learning and development to ensure we nurture and develop our staff.
  • Working with appropriate parties on reward strategy and advise SMT on best practice.
  • Reviewing and revising our HR policies, ensuring they are in line with employment legislation and that they are applied consistently across TI-UK
  • Driving the annual appraisal process, ensuring they are completed and logged appropriately.
  • Ensuring all payroll changes are communicated to the Finance Team and actioned accordingly
  • provide support and advice to teams throughout the recruitment process
  • Managing or participating in specific projects that help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Working with SMT and Comms to build/reinforce the organisation’s culture and values.
  • Ensuring effective administration of HR and employee files and records and ensure the HR database is up to date
  • Working collaboratively with the other HR Manager and cover for them in their absence


About you

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced, confident HR generalist who has gained experience in a similar role. You’ll be self-motivated and keen to take responsibility for TI-UK’s HR function. In addition to this you will:

  • Have superb communication skills
  • Be comfortable working alone and part of a team
  • Have the ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.
  • Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
  • Confident in directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing change or other relevant HR projects
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • Have or working towards, a CIPD or equivalent qualification
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction and appropriate development and for individuals
  • An open and collaborative approach to the job share and be able to work closely with the other HR Manager
  • International HR experience, a keen interest/background in L&D and/or recruitment would be desirable but not essential
