Finance Manager – Projects

About the role

We are recruiting for exceptional finance manager, to work on our projects, with the ability to design financial project management systems, manage the overall financial reporting framework, communicate with internal stakeholders and donor representatives and train staff in best practice. He/she will be accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of internal and external financial reporting on institutional and trust fundraising.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to:

  • Monitor and report financial information on significant multi-year projects which are often based in fragile states
  • Design and implement project financial reporting systems
  • Confidently communicate financial data and priorities to internal stakeholders and budget holders
  • Report to major institutional donors and to trusts and foundations
  • Train staff on best practice in financial monitoring and reporting (desirable)
  • Be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
