Executive Director – Transparency International UK

  • London
  • Competitive Salary

Transparency International is a global movement sharing one vision: a world in which government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption. Through chapters in more than 100 countries, we are leading the fight against corruption to turn this vision into reality. Transparency International UK (TI-UK) is one of the largest chapters in the global movement and a key player in the anti-corruption field in the UK and beyond. At TI-UK, we fight corruption by promoting changes in values, attitudes and behaviour at home and abroad, through programmes that draw on the UK’s unique position as a global political and business centre.TI-UK’s strategic objectives are to remain the UK’s turn-to organisation for corruption information, policy and opinion and a centre of excellence for TI’s global programmes, building on its world-class research, advocacy and programme capability. After several years of rapid growth, we expect the next few years to be a period focused on maximising impact, and enhancing co-ordination of our four key programmes to ensure we are greater than the sum of our parts.

The Executive Director role is undoubtedly one that requires exceptional leadership. The Executive Director will bring a record of achievement in a relevant field, with experience gained internationally. S/he will be someone with the ability to collaborate effectively with the global movement; a thought leader who can become an advocate for the fight against corruption; a credible and compelling communicator to whom others look for inspiration and an exceptional people manager who can support and develop a talented senior team and a staff of world class experts.

Closing date for applications is Monday 15th April 2019.
