About the role

Key to our fight against corruption is engaging people from diverse audiences via innovative and compelling events and content. We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Events Coordinator, ideally with an interest in business integrity or anti-corruption, to join the team at a busy and exciting time to lead the expansion and delivery of our programme of high quality online and, where possible, in person events.


Using your extensive experience, you will deliver events run by our UK programmes, specifically focussed on corporate audiences and improving Business Integrity. You will also work with the wider organisation running internal events that support staff learning and organisational development and external events to engage the Transparency International movement, global decision makers, donors and the wider public in our national and global programmes of work.


The Senior Events Coordinator will be responsible for:


  • Shaping and delivering TI-UK’s external events programme and post programme feedback
  • Horizon scanning for issues affecting business integrity and to plan, manage and deliver a programme of related Business Integrity Forum events and anticorruption in-depth roundtables
  • Developing and delivering events to engage the Transparency International movement, global and national audiences in tackling corruption in Global Health and Defence and Security
  • Planning and delivering donor dinners and round-table events, internal staff events and bigger flagship events such as our Annual Lecture and events to mark World Anti-Corruption day
  • Researching event themes, speakers and venue
  • Designing promotional content and materials, and promoting the events through our social media channels
  • Enhancing the value of TI-UK digital events through scoping new platforms and trialling innovative and approaches
  • Leading continuous improvement through ongoing evaluation of our events programme, collaboration with partners and learning from organisations around the world


About you


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a self-starter with strong project management experience who is able to work with little supervision
  • Have extensive corporate event management experience including lectures, panels, seminars, round tables, training and conferences, both in person and online
  • Have design skills and experience creating invitations, posters and flyers
  • Be able to prioritise and manage multiple demands on your time effectively
  • Have an interest in and experience of digital marketing
  • Be a confident communicator – verbal and written
  • Ideally, have some knowledge or an interest of business integrity, anticorruption and/or compliance and responsible business
