Integrity Pact implementation - a Mexican experience December 2006
This report presents the results of interviews with Integrity Pact participants competing to provide a major train line through the central Mexican Valley . Interviewees were overwhelmingly positive in their assessment of their Integrity Pact experience. More than one of the interviewees suggested that the presence of the Integrity Pact pledges and the Independent Monitor were crucial in guiding the process through the most difficult periods. All of the representatives interviewed expressed the view that the Integrity Pact gave valuable assurances to all participants of the probity of the deal, as well as demonstrating this integrity to the citizenry through enhanced transparency.

This report presents lessons learned from preparing and implementing a Defence Integrity Pact on the Procurement of Combat Aircraft for the Republic of Colombia . It informs and promotes the wider use of Defence Integrity Pacts internationally. In the end the tender did not go through to completion as all but one of the bidding companies withdrew. Nevertheless, many useful lessons were learnt and are described in this report. Those lessons are now being applied to other Defence Ministries and in other Defence Integrity Pacts.

This report and corresponding charts compare a number of US and European defence company codes of conduct with selected practices, and also with the TI-developed Business Principles for Countering Bribery. It was carried out by the Institute of Business Ethics on behalf of the PCOAT project.

Integrity Pacts: The Korean Experience December 2003
This survey examines how widely a particular style of Integrity Pacts have been introduced into the public sector in South Korea and how they currently operate. By comparing their implementation with TI's recommendations, the survey suggests improvements to ensure that Integrity Pacts successfully prevent corruption in the public sector.
