TI-UK’s Ben Cowdock has writes on the upcoming International Anticorruption Summit to be hosted in London in 2016, calling for “Game Changing” ideas to help the world get one step closer to being corruption free.

Last week in preparation for the G8 meeting in Northern Ireland, German Chancellor Angela Merkel invited a group of civil society organizations to Berlin to brief her on their concerns, signalling how important our views are in shaping the world leaders’ agenda.

Corruption in the police force is the top corruption issue for citizens in many countries across the world. In 31 of the 100 countries covered by our global survey, people told us the police are the most corrupt institution in their country.

From 21 November, any Russian organisation that campaigns on public policy issues and receives foreign funding for civil society work will be forced to register as an ´agent of foreign influence.’
