The Bribery Act: Government consultation on commercial organisations preventing bribery (section 9 of the Bribery Act 2010).
Roderick Macauley, Bribery Act Manager at the Ministry of Justice, will give a presentation and lead a discussion about the Government’s consultation on bribery prevention procedures for commercial organisations.

The Bribery Act 2010 reforms the criminal law to provide a new, modern and comprehensive scheme of bribery offences that will enable courts and prosecutors to respond more effectively to bribery at home or abroad.
The full consultation paper can be downloaded from the Ministry of Justice website: http://www.justice.gov.uk/. The closing date for responses to the consultation is Monday 8 November 2010 at 5pm.
